Thank you for considering the services of Little Blessings Early Learning Center for the care of your children. Little Blessings has been serving children and their families at this location for more than twenty years. The day care center is a ministry/service of Covenant Fellowship Church which is led by Pastor Ray and Linda Bert. Pastor Ray has served as pastor of two congregations during the past 40 years. Christian childcare has been part of both churches. Because of the teachings of the Holy Bible, Pastor Ray believes all children are of great importance to God, and to His Son, Jesus Christ. God consistently describes the great value of children, even prior to their conception, when only He can “see” them. He also consistently proclaims strong judgment on those who mistreat or disrespect children. Jesus Christ says if we will understand God’s Kingdom, we must become like a child. Jesus also said that a student who is fully trained will be like his teacher. For these reasons, Pastor Ray expects the following to be increasingly characteristic of the care your children receive here at Little Blessings and the atmosphere in which that care is given.
· God loves each child equally and has a wonderful destiny and purpose for each one.
· Every child is always to be treated with respect and high regard for her/his person hood. (Children are people too!)
· Since children will be like their teachers, teachers must be persons of strong integrity and character, and maintain high moral standards, serving as positive role models for your children.
· Little Blessings will strive to assist you as parents in protecting, guiding, and training your children to fulfill their God-given destiny and calling.
· Little Blessings will seek to have each child understand, in an age-appropriate way; that God exists, He is good, He created them in His image, He loves them, and that He longs to have a personal and eternity-long relationship with them through His Son, Jesus Christ.
- We cannot do your job as parents. We do intend to support you in your efforts to provide nurture and care for your children while they are in our care.
